Picturesque surroundings and community.the family who ran the resort was kind and helpful to all their guests. Highly recommended for those who love the countryside.

Amazing view, beautiful gardens and interesting hotel and rooms. Good value for the money.

It is a little isolated but worth it for the view and peacefulness away from the town. Beds are hard, soap was a large used bar and shower was not separate from bathroom - so bathroom gets wet. Breakfast is chinese breakfast only. Overall a bit rough around the edges but well worth the money!

Limited food options, poor room quality & uncomfortable beds. However, the bed we slept on was uncomfortable and a high level of noise from wildlife outside made it difficult for us to have a good night's rest. There were limited options on the menu and the room quality was disappointing. We expected more from a hotel at this price point.

The hotel is magnificent. Maintenance staff deserves the highest ratings. The hotel is designed for relaxation.

The view from the terrace was breathtaking, and the spacious rooms were spotless and well-furnished. The staff was attentive, helpful, and spoke good English. They arranged cycles, tickets, cooking school, and were even willing to accompany us up mountain rice terraces. The hotel's location was perfect for a quiet retreat away from busy tourist areas. The food, especially the braised eggplant, was delicious, and the Chinese breakfast was incredible.

Poor English of the staff in the kitchen, hotel is a bit far from the centre, you should prepare a paper or map in Chinese for taxi driver from the town (costs about 25y)

The atmosphere was great! The room was very nice and clean. We liked the location which wasn`t in the centre of Yangshuo and so it was very quiet. The service was excellent and the staff really tried to help us and realized all our wishes. We felt very comfortable and would really recommend this place.

The resort is situated away from the busy city and offers peace and quiet with stunning views of the river and mountains. the staff is friendly and helpful in planning trips around the area. the clean rooms and bike rentals are a plus.

The location requires a taxi to get to the city, which may be inconvenient at times.

It is at the a hill. Not so near to town. It takes about 10min by taxis. You can call and ask the hotel to arrange a taxis. Actually, the hotel is near to West Street, but you need to ride a boat and walk up the hill to the hotel, the weather is good. You can ask the hotel owner to teach you the way from West Street to the hotel. However, the place is cozy with friendly hotel owner. They are a young couple. They are willing to help if you have any problem. Just tell them. They will do whatever they would to solve your problems. You can try the noodle and buns prepared by the hotel. Quite nice, I like them very much. The environment is nice with good views.

Spent Christmas here and it was a memorable experience. the serene setting was perfect for getting away from it all. the rooms were comfy and clean, plus the staff were friendly and helpful. A highlight was the delicious Chinese food served at the restaurant. the beautiful surroundings made it easy to go for walks in nature and take in the impressive views of the river and mountains.

It's worth noting that the location is a bit remote, so it may be a challenge if you are looking to be in the center of the action. the language barrier can be a bit difficult to overcome at times.

Beautiful mountain getaway. Clean well decorated and appointed. Very quiet, relaxing and peaceful setting away from town. Small botique hotel (12 rooms) run by a lovely gal that speaks good english and is very helpful. Only drawback is that it is a 10 min taxi ride ($3,00 US) from town but that was not really a problem. Yangshuo is a great little resort town and this is the perfect place to use as a base.
